Spring is in the air. As the warmer spring months are rapidly approaching. The month that all of us are waiting for most of the third month of the year, March. Why, you might ask, well the simple answer is that St. Patrick’s Day is in March. Many common celebrations for St. Patrick’s Day include things like public parades, festivals, and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks. On St. Patrick’s Day it is typically regarded to be lucky if one wears or finds a shamrock. For his special day, an equally special treat has to go with it, so follow this easy no bake recipe for lucky shamrock cookies!

Ingredients- 1 (16 ounce) package large marshmallows, ½ cup butter (softened), 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 ½ teaspoons green food coloring, 4 ½ cups cornflakes cereal
1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt together the marshmallows, butter, vanilla, and food coloring. Mix in the cornflakes cereal.
2. Drop spoonfuls on wax paper. Set aside, and allow to cool.
